When Mohammed and his family first unlocked the doors of Indigo Espresso Cafe, they didn't just open a café — they opened their home. After years cooking in top hotels across the UAE, Mohammed brought his recipes, his warmth, and a simple belief: that a good meal, made with care, can turn a stranger into a regular.
Tucked into Athelstone Shopping Centre, Indigo quickly became the kind of place where the barista knows your order before you reach the counter. Where the aroma of freshly ground Roasting Warehouse coffee mingles with the gentle clatter of plates. Where a family-owned kitchen turns out everything from hearty breakfasts to authentic Indian curries — all made to order, all made with heart.
Over a decade later, that same warmth hasn't faded. Every cup is still poured with intention. Every plate is still sent out like it's going to someone you love. Because at Indigo, hospitality isn't a concept — it's who we are.

our favourite local cafe - delicious 100% halal food, extremely friendly staff, and in a convenient location. the staff are always so accomodating, even when we come with a wheelchair. definitely a must try in adelaide. :))

Everytime i grab something here im blown away and pleasantly surprised. I cant believe there isnt a line out the door. The coffee is nice and it seems like an ordinary cafe but it also has the absolute tastiest and actually chilly hot chocolate ive ever had, and today i tried the samosa and was gobsmacked at how good it was. Well seasoned and quite hot. The lady at the counter is so nice and I asked her if they were homemade and she confirmed, so i knew it would be better than other places, but when i actually tasted it it was even better than i expected. 10/10 will be going back

We tried their tandoori wrap and blew our tastebuds straight away, the blend of sauces was exceptional and flavourful. The chef was kind enough to serve us complimentary cake as well. Will definitely visit again. Cherry on top everything on menu is halal.
